Q: Is alcohol allowed at the NoDa Bizarre?
A: No, alcohol is not allowed at the NoDa Bizarre.
Q: Where do I park?
A: For guests, we kindly ask that you avoid driving to NoDa if possible. Our neighborhood is small, popular, and parking is very limited—but luckily, there are plenty of easy ways to get here without a car!
JUMP Transit is offering free rides to the YMCA.
Light Rail: Lynx Blue Line to 36th Street Station (central NoDa) or Sugar Creek Station (North NoDa).
Bus: CATS Routes 23 (Shamrock Dr / N. Davidson / The Plaza) or 3 (The Plaza / 36th Street Station).
Biking & Walking: Use the Little Sugar Creek Greenway, Cordelia Park access, or N. Davidson bike lanes.
Scooters & Microtransit: Rent an e-scooter (Lime, Bird) or book JumpTransit electric shuttle rides.

A: Yes, the NoDa Bizarre is ADA accessible. The market is located on the lawn and the parking lot of the Johnston YMCA. There are ADA-compliant sidewalks and cut-outs to access the property. Additionally, ADA-accessible bathrooms are available at Charlotte Studio Artists. We strive to ensure a welcoming and accessible environment for all our visitors.

A: The NoDa Bizarre is an all-art market hosted by the NoDa Neighborhood & Business Association (NBA). We feature 75+ local artisans, live music, demonstrations, food trucks, and community art activities on the lawn of the Johnston YMCA.

A: Yes! NoDa Bizarre welcomes all ages. It’s a community-oriented event with art, vendors, music, and fun activities that make it great for families and kids
Q: Will the streets be blocked?
A: No, the NoDa Bizarre is set up entirely on YMCA property and does not block streets. We may temporarily cone off street parking for vendor load-in but reopen it immediately after.
Q: Where do event proceeds go?
A: NoDa Bizarre is organized by the NoDaRioty Committee, part of the NoDa Neighborhood and Business Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Proceeds support the committee’s public art initiatives, including restoring existing murals, creating new art, and funding arts-focused community programs.

A: Yes. Portable restrooms are available on the YMCA lawn, and ADA-accessible restrooms are available at Charlotte Studio Artists.
