Race Day Details
The NoDaWeen Freaky 5K is a fun run hosted by the NoDa “NBA” – Neighborhood and Business Association. Come run though one of Charlotte’s most historic and spookiest neighborhoods. Participants are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes as prizes will be handed out for best costumes and for fastest runners. A post-run party will be held at NoDa Company Store. This race is great for experienced and beginner runners or walkers and for families, friends, teenagers, kids, and strollers! Leashed and well trained dogs are also welcome to join the fun.
Pre-register by Friday, October 17th, 2025 and receive a stylish t-shirt and swag bag with local goodies with your race package!
As a 501C3 non-profit organization, net proceeds from the Freaky 5K benefit NoDa NBA community projects. For more about the NBA visit noda.org and for race questions please contact NoDaFreaky5K@gmail.com.

Prizes and Costume Contest
Starting at 5:45pm at NoDa Company Store – Prizes for race participants only but spectators are welcome!

Costume categories include: Best Overall, Best Group and Best Carnival Theme
Post Race Party
6:00pm - Close at The Company Store (3221 Yadkin Ave, Charlotte, NC 28205). Costumes are encouraged! More details to come.

NoDa Downtown Candy Crawl
The NoDa Downtown Candy Crawl is back for it's 6th year! We invite all of you young goblins and ghouls to our family-friendly trick or treating adventure in downtown NoDa on Sunday, October 26th starting at 4pm. Participating businesses will be listed on an interactive map on the noda.org website, with pop-up businesses at the YMCA front lawn.
Join the Johnston YMCA on the same evening for their annual Fall Festival! This family friendly event will take place on the "front porch" of NoDa, with spooktacular fun for all, starting at 4pm.
