Race Day Details
The NoDaWeen Freaky 5K is a fun run hosted by the NoDa “NBA” – Neighborhood and Business Association. Come run though one of Charlotte’s most historic and spookiest neighborhoods. Participants are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes as prizes will be handed out for best costumes and for fastest runners. A post-run party will be held at NoDa Company Store. This race is great for experienced and beginner runners or walkers and for families, friends, teenagers, kids, and strollers! Leashed and well trained dogs are also welcome to join the fun.

Pre-register by Monday, October 21st, 2024 and receive a stylish t-shirt and swag bag with local goodies with your race package!

NoDa Downtown Candy Crawl
The NoDa Downtown Candy Crawl is back for it's 6th year! We invite all of you young goblins and ghouls to our family-friendly trick or treating adventure in downtown NoDa on Sunday, October 27th starting at 4pm. Participating businesses will be listed on an interactive map on the noda.org website, with pop-up businesses at the YMCA front lawn.

Join the Johnston YMCA on the same evening for their annual Fall Festival! This family friendly event will take place on the "front porch" of NoDa, with spooktacular fun for all, starting at 4pm.

NoDaWeen House Decorating Contest
We're on the *haunt* for the spookiest, best decorated house in NoDa! Music, decorations, and props are encouraged. Winner receives bragging rights until the following year as well as a $200 cash prize!
To sign your house up for the contest, please fill in the information below by Friday, October 25th. All contestants are required to have their house completely setup by Monday, October 28th, 8am and must keep their decorations up until Halloween (Thursday 10/31) at midnight. Voting will go live on Monday, October 28th to the NoDa community and will close at midnight on Halloween by a virtual poll promoted on social media. Winner will be announced through the @nodaclt Instagram page the week after Halloween.
Eligible houses *must* be within the boundaries of the NoDa Neighborhood (within N. Tryon - E. Sugar Creek - The Plaza - Matheson).
