WHAT: "Through the Looking Glass" Opening Reception
WHERE: Green Rice Gallery, 451 E. 36th St
We all know what Alice saw when she went through the looking glass, now it is our Green Rice Artists turn to show the public what wondrous things they might see in theirs! Opening Friday, July 3rd from 7-9pm, Green Rice Gallery will host a new show entitled Through the Looking Glass. As Lewis Carroll stated, The world is a looking-glass, and gives back to every man the reflection of his own face. Frown at it, and it will in turn look sourly upon you; laugh at it and with it, and it is a jolly kind companion. The show will run from July 3rd to August 2nd and will feature over 10 artists with broadly varying styles of work. From oils to acrylics, from woodwork and mixed media sculpture, be prepared to expect the unexpected! "If it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic." -Tweedledee
