Amelie's Teams with Red Cross for Haiti Relief

Amelie's Teams with Red Cross for Haiti Relief
Charlotte, NC/January 29, 2010 -- Amelie's, a French bakery and cafe located in NoDa, is sponsoring a raffle to benefit the American Red Cross's Haiti relief efforts. Raffle tickets will be sold at the bakery from Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 through Friday, Feb 5, 2010 for $5 dollars each or five for $20 dollars.
"This is completely driven by our employees. They wanted to do more," said co-owner Lynn St. Laurent.
Prizes have been donated to Amelie's and include:
--Gift certificates for NoDa restaurants: Amelie's, Cabo Fish Taco and Revolution Pizza & Ale House
--Tickets to the North Carolina Dance Theater
--Classes at NoDa Yoga
--One of a kind artwork by Brenda Ische, the interior designer responsible for the look of Amelie's
--Handmade jewelry, accessories, crafts and more
Raffle tickets can be purchased in the atrium at Amelie's. Representatives from the Red Cross will be on hand to assist with ticket sales. Winners will be drawn on Friday, Feb 5, 2010. Individuals do not need to be present to win.
