Jazzin @ Johnston YMCA
jazz concert on the lawn, free and open to the public. 4:30pm to 7:30pm.
On Saturday, September 20, 2008 the Johnston YMCA located in NoDa will be hosting a jazz concert that is open and free to the public.
The event will take place on the lawn of the Johnston YMCA located at 3025 North Davidson Street, Charlotte, NC from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.
Performances will be provided by local artists, including: A Sign of the Times, Kevin Jones & Company and one other band to be announced.
The purpose of this new signature event is to raise the profile of the Johnston YMCA within the Charlotte community; specifically NoDa and other North Charlotte neighborhoods.
In conjunction with the concert, there will also be the Healthy Kids Day Experience. The event will include a variety of activities to educate and entertain children of all ages.
Bring a blanket and chair and plan to enjoy your afternoon at the newly renovated Johnston YMCA.
